Have you ever had a camera fully built and ready to shoot, only to be informed that the setup or shot has changed? We can't solve every problem like this, but this handy little spacer kit facilitates the need to change the height of your camera quickly.
The kit includes 2 spacers which measure 1 3/4" long and just under 7/8" in diameter (they are the exact width of an Arri top handle). They have a stainless steel threaded stud at one end, and a tapped 3/8"-16 hole at the other end.
An improvement for the 2022 DDS is that we have added flats on each side to allow the use of a 5/8" (or adjustable) wrench to add or remove the spacer. These flats are centred on the spacer to prevent a wrench from contacting the camera's top hande and marking it up.
A 3/16" (or 5mm) allen key can also be used to tighten or loosen these spacers.
