There are a limitless number of methods for adding gravity to your camera build. These weights allow your Gold Mount battery receiver to double as a weight perch. Simply add one or more of these weights to the battery receiver, and then click your battery right onto it. Power is safely transmitted through the weight, and held securely in place with the lockable release lever.
Gold Mount Battery Weights are available in 3 different sizes.
1) Light - 850 grams (1.875 lb) - $550/
2) Medium - 1320 grams (2.9 lb) - $625/
3) Heavy - 1840 grams (4.05 lb) - $700/

Although the Gold Mount Battery Weights were originally intended to be used solely with a steadicam rig, they have lots of other possible applications. Use of these weights on builds that may experience shock loading or aggressive vibration is not recommended. Discretion is required for all applications to ensure that the battery receiver on your build can safely support the required amount of weight. Rocket Surgery Solutions is not responsible for injury or damage caused to battery receivers due to overloading.
We have added even more strength to the setup by replacing the gold mount pin screws with longer versions that thread directly into the brass.
All weights come with a fused P-Tap, so you'll not be wanting for places to power up!
