A lot of us like to use tools, but not all the time, and not when you're in a hurry. This lens rod support bracket is a fast and reliable method of holding long, unweildy rods in place. It uses "ball-plungers" to stay in place against the camera plate, so it will never come loose, you'll never need tools to add or remove it, and there are no screws to get "displaced".
If you are using the Arri CBP-2 bridge plate, you'll need a CBP-2 specific rod support bracket. The CBP-2 has slightly different geometry that has the rods sit about 4mm higher than a standard bridge plate. Luckily, we make a rod support bracket to solve this issue!
