Who doesn't love flying an Alexa Mini on their steadicam rig? Well, perhaps those operators who are using heavy lenses that flex the camera body enough to induce some "jounce" to the image. This rear support bracket is intended to be used with the Arri SAB-1 side bar, and locks firmly into the bottom of it, creating a "cage" of sorts that dramatically stiffens up the package. As the SAB-1 is found only on one side, a nylon-tipped set screw is added to the other side of the bracket, and contacts a small aluminum tab (included) that attaches to the bottom of the camera body with non-permanent double sided tape. all necessary fasteners are included, and an array of stainless-steel threaded inserts reinforces the mounting holes.
