MDR3 CINELOCK BRACKET KIT - MDR3CLBK - $250 CDN
For a "tools-free" solution to mounting an MDR3 to the end of a camera handle, we offer this MDR3 Cinelock bracket. This kit allows you to use your cinelock to make a quick and simple mounting solution possible. Although not as versatile as the MDR3 Pivot Bracket, this bracket still gives you several mounting options. This bracket also lines the MDR up so that the motor cable can pass through the camera handle riser.
The kit comes with the MDR3 plate, the Cinelock Pin Mount Plate, and all necessary screws.
Custom made stailness-steel screws allow this bracket to be incredibly thin. Like, 1/8" thick kind of thin! The other advantage of custom screws is that even though they are different sizes, a single 3/16" allen key fits both of them.
*Make sure not to use a ball-ended allen key to tighten these screws. In order to keep the profile as thin as possible, the 1/4" screw has a shallower hex pocket than standard, and can be more easily stripped with a rounded allen key.
Available as a full kit, with the Cinelock Pin Mount Plate, or as just the MDR3 plate, pictured here. Cost for the plate only (with custom screws) is $200 CDN.
