MDR2 PIVOT BRACKET - MDR2PB - $400 CDN

The original pivoting MDR handle mount. This bracket is much like the MDR3 Pivot Bracket, but with a few differences. As the MDR2 is longer and heavier than the MDR3, the mounting holes in the pivot mechanism have threaded inserts in them to prevent wear when mounted in this configuration. This "lengthwise" mounting option makes for a nice narrow camera, but may not be ideal without the use of 90-degree ended motor cables.

Included are 2 lengths of 8-32 stainless-steel mounting screws for mounting the MDR on either side of the bracket.

An additional feature of this bracket that differentiates it from the MDR3 version is the ability to invert the bracket on the pivot mechanism. There are times when there simply isn't enough room to allow the bracket to hang below the camera handle, so this configuration can certainly help to avoid some headaches.

Like with the MDR3 Pivot Bracket, this bracket can also be configured to allow the motor cable to pass through the camera handle riser when in this "widthwise" mode. Again, this is the preferred configuration when 90 degree ended motor cables are not readily available.

As with a number of our camera products, the MDR2 Pivot Bracket can be purchased in either red or black anodized finishes.
